KARACHI: Dead body of a minor recovered from the Bhittaiabad neighborhood of the metropolis’ Gulistan-e-Johar area and according to her latest medical report the girl was subjected to rape (probably more than once) and then choked to death.
The senior superintendent of police (SSP) for Malir, Munir Shaikh, reported that the minor’s body had burn marks which were probably inflicted through lit cigarettes. The SSP further added that the girl’s body was subjected to multiple molestations.
The deceased used to live with her elder sister after the death of her father. The police have detained minor’s brother-in-law and paternal uncle on suspicion.

According to the police reports, the deceased passed away at her home and was brought to the hospital by her brother-in-law.
However, the SSP commented that nothing can be said for now as the further investigations are underway.
