Former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Saqib Nisar, faced a shocking and alarming incident as his residence became the target of a hand grenade attack.
As per the initial reports garnered, the assault, marked by the explosion of a hand grenade at his home in the provincial capital’s Garden Town area, has left two policemen injured. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported.
Injured police personnel were identified as Muhammad Amir and Khurram Shahzad. Authorities swiftly responded to the scene, cordoning off the area and launching a thorough investigation into the appalling attack. Security agencies are actively engaged in uncovering the motives behind this disturbing act, aiming to identify the perpetrators and ensure swift justice.
